INSTALLATION OF INDUSTRIAL PHOTOVOLTAIC SOLAR SELF-CONSUMPTION

 

Once again, we must talk about industrial solar photovoltaic self-consumption, as it is a topic that continues to grow, although many such installations have been implemented in recent years. However, much remains to be done, as the medium-term goal is for most large consumers to manage all or part of their own energy resources, and from here we are still quite far from that goal.

 

In this case, we moved to La Rioja, the land of wine and vegetables, to supply energy to a frozen fruit and vegetable factory. Since the factory has large cold storage facilities, as well as large industrial vegetable cutting machines, the contracted power requirement is high, so we had to adapt, trying not to exceed the 100 kW limit. We then proposed a 100 kW industrial self-consumption solar photovoltaic installation to supply most of the company’s consumption, thereby significantly reducing the high monthly electricity bill and thus becoming more efficient and profitable. This industrial self-consumption solar photovoltaic installation has reduced the company’s energy consumption by 68.5%, representing significant savings for the company.

  • 200 solar panels of 585 Wp
  • 100 kW grid inverter.
  • Protection, monitoring and control system
