SELF-CONSUMPTION INSTALLATION FOR HOMES WITH SOLAR WALLET

We have already mentioned in previous installation publications that residential solar photovoltaic self-consumption, that is, in private homes for their own consumption or with shared consumption, is a reality that has expanded strongly, especially during the years 2022 and 2023, basically due to the high price of electricity during that period. In 2024, domestic self-consumption has continued to be installed, but at a more relaxed pace, since it went from (when electricity was so expensive) amortizing the installation in 3 or 4 years, to 6 or 7 years with current energy prices. This does not mean at all that prices will consolidate downwards, there have always been and will be fluctuations as in all markets, depending on environmental, socioeconomic and geopolitical factors. The idea that electricity is cheap now and therefore there is no need to invest in improving the efficiency and energy savings of our homes is a short-sighted mistake, since the current price of this type of installation makes it worth investing in the short to medium term and being prepared for what may come, since then everything will be a rush and nerves to have everything finished and running as soon as possible in order to enjoy clean, cheap and sustainable energy, taking into account also that an installation of this type, with quality materials, has a useful life of about 30 years, which will allow us to sleep peacefully for a good period of time.

This specific installation supplies two apartments located in the same building and a third one about 300 meters away from them. This is achieved by contracting the FENIE ENERGÍA solar wallet, since the 3 homes have the same owner and the same contract with FENIE ENERGÍA, so all 3 can enjoy the electrical production of the solar field installed on the roof of one of them, and its surpluses, thus we will take advantage of 100% of the energy produced by it, even if it has a high solar production, since, even if the production was sufficient to supply the 3 homes, we will still have a third savings advantage with the simplified compensation.
