This isn’t really a new installation, but rather the renovation of an existing one, with increased capacity and power. Until recently, this installation only had three 15 kVA inverters in a three-phase configuration, 48 V 3500 Ah EPzS traction batteries, half the solar array it has now, and so on. With the expansion and renovation, its generating capacity, storage capacity, and nominal output power have doubled. Thanks to new technologies, scaling up is now quite simple, allowing for capacity increases of up to 300% in most cases. Therefore, expansions in industrial-type installations are no longer a complex and costly obstacle; in most cases, it’s simply a matter of adding equipment until the necessary capacity is reached for the new installation to function properly.
Off-grid photovoltaic solar installations are an ideal resource for situations where grid power is difficult or expensive. However, over time, their price-to-performance ratio has also made them an attractive and entirely viable solution in situations where grid access is readily available. The price of an off-grid photovoltaic solar installation, whether industrial or residential, has become very similar to that of grid power, and in some cases, it is significantly cheaper than what electricity companies charge for grid connection. Furthermore, with new control, management, and monitoring systems, and their high degree of reliability and efficiency, these installations are not only a possibility but also a serious and profitable alternative to conventional electricity supply.
